The TX has a standard Secondary Collision Brake, which automatically applies the brakes in the event of a crash to help prevent secondary collisions and prevent further injuries. The Vistiq doesn’t offer a post collision braking system: in the event of a collision that triggers the airbags, more collisions are possible without the protection of airbags that may have already deployed.

The TX has a standard space-saver spare tire so you can replace a flat tire and drive to have the flat repaired or replaced. A spare tire isn’t available on the Vistiq; it requires you to depend on roadside assistance and your vehicle will have to be towed.

For better maneuverability, the TX’s turning circle is .2 feet tighter than the Vistiq Premium Luxury/Platinum’s (38 feet vs. 38.2 feet). The TX’s turning circle is 3 feet tighter than the Vistiq’s (38 feet vs. 41 feet).

For greater off-road capability the TX 550h+ Luxury has a greater minimum ground clearance than the Vistiq (7.7 vs. 7.2 inches), allowing the TX to travel over rougher terrain without being stopped or damaged. The TX 500h F Sport Performance Premium’s minimum ground clearance is .8 inch higher than on the Vistiq (8 vs. 7.2 inches).

The Lexus TX may be more efficient, handle and accelerate better because it weighs about 950 to 1900 pounds less than the Cadillac Vistiq.

The TX has 7.4 cubic feet more passenger volume than the Vistiq (153 vs. 145.6).

The TX has .5 inches more front headroom, 1.1 inches more rear headroom, 2.9 inches more third row legroom, 4.6 inches more third row hip room and 3.1 inches more third row shoulder room than the Vistiq.

Standard Trailer Sway Control on the TX uses the Vehicle Stability Control sensors to detect trailer sway, then uses individual brakes to counteract any swaying and help keep the tow vehicle and trailer steady. The Vistiq doesn’t offer electronic trailer sway control.

In poor weather, headlights can lose their effectiveness as grime builds up on their lenses. This can reduce visibility without the driver realizing. The TX Luxury/F Sport has standard headlight washers to keep headlight output high. The Vistiq doesn’t offer headlight washers.

The TX Premium/Luxury/F Sport has standard front air conditioned seats and the TX offers them optionally in the second row. This keeps the passengers comfortable and takes the sting out of hot seats in summer. The Vistiq doesn’t offer air-conditioned seats for the second row.

The TX Premium/Luxury/F Sport’s optional Advanced Park can parallel park or back into a parking spot by itself, starting, stopping and changing direction automatically. Remote Park will park and retrieve your car remotely: press a button and watch it park itself. This is ideal for tight locations. The Vistiq’s automatic parking system does not offer parking by remote control.

The TX is available in both front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive configurations. The Vistiq doesn’t offer a two-wheel drive configuration.
